Emma started her career in the insurance industry in 2009 and completed her loss adjusting qualifications in 2011, when she also became a Senior Associate of the Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters.

Emma handles a variety of claim types, including contract works (material damage and liability), third party property and personal injury claims, and professional indemnity claims. She specialises in contract works defects exclusion claims, complex professional indemnity matters, and public and products liability claims with a focus on the construction sector.

Emma was awarded the ANZIIF Young Insurance Professional of the year in 2016. She is the president of Women in Insurance Queensland Chapter.
