Nish has over 20 years in the insurance industry, 15 of those in Loss Adjusting.

He joined a large Australian insurer in 2003, and after experiencing domestic and motor claims, he left as the Large Loss Client Manager. After six years of claims handling, Nish became a Loss Adjuster, specialising in Commercial, Liability and Domestic claims.

He did 5 years in domestic loss adjusting then joined LKA Group in 2013 where he developed a thorough knowledge of all classes of liability, Victorian Plumbers Warranty, as well as commercial property including business interruption. He has served the Victorian Building Authority as an Authorised Officer. In 2015, he became Loss Adjusting Manager, and was responsible for a national team of adjusters.

Nish joined YDR in 2023 as State Manager, Vic & Tas, and with his diverse background and experience, is responsible for team development, client relationships and marketing.

Holding multiple positions on the AICLA Council since 2011, he became the Victorian Chair in 2022.
